John Tobin, an employee of Coastal Flow Measurement and currently Senior Technical Specialist for the BirdDog Information Systems division, along with his wife, Cynthia, proudly announced that their son, Harrold Lee Tobin, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout…the highest advancement rank available in Scouting. The first Eagle Scout medal was awarded in 1912 and since then its ranks have included leaders from all walks of life, including the sciences, academics, religion, politics, the arts, sports, entertainment, etc. Among the requirements for earning this rank are that the Scout must plan, develop, and lead his Eagle Project, a service project that demonstrates both leadership and an absolute commitment to duty.
The Court of Honor Ceremony to present Harrold Tobin with his Eagle Scout Badge took place in Houston, Texas on February 25, 2015, attended by family, friends, and fellow members of the Scouting community. Earning the rank of Eagle Scout represents many years of dedicated effort and the successful completion of a long process which began when Harrold first joined the Boy Scouts of America.
Our sincerest congratulations go out to Harrold Lee Tobin on this tremendous accomplishment, and to his understandably proud parents, John and Cynthia.
