The highly scalable BirdDog Remote Data Retrieval System gathers information from flow computers and other monitoring devices through routine as well as on-demand polling across leading-edge communications systems. This data is then available for consolidation, archiving, analysis, and secure Internet presentation. Meter and field data from SCADA or measurement data management systems may also be imported into the master BirdDog database and presented through the same web-based interface.
Morning Reports are electronically issued daily via e-mail to summarize the flowing parameters, prior day and current production data, and rates for each measurement device. In addition, the BirdDog system detects alarm conditions and automatically sends user-defined notifications through a variety of communications options. And the electronic gauger reporting function allows field personnel to enter data that is not collected by an electronic device, for loading into the master BirdDog database and subsequent web presentation.
A variety of system reports are available for online viewing, printing, and downloading into a standard spreadsheet format. A graphing function also provides a powerful way to visualize and better evaluate critical information, including historical trending.
