Curtis co-founded Coastal Flow with his father, Jerry Fillman, in 1974. Since that time he has focused his efforts on the management of the company's field measurement services. Mark joined the family business in 1980 and currently manages the company's gas measurement and accounting services. Both Mark and Curtis are active in the day-to-day management and core operations of the company, and serve on the Board of Directors. Steve Whitman Steve has been with Coastal Flow since 1978 providing a wide range of measurement and analytical expertise to the core operations of the business. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1974 and specializes in the custody transfer measurement of hydrocarbon fluids. Steve's professional affiliations include the American Petroleum Institute (API), the Instrument Society of America (ISA), and the International Standards Organization (ISO). He is also an active participant on the following committees:
Mike Squyres Mike began his career with Coastal Flow in 1987 where he specialized in the development of gas and liquid measurement software. In recognition of the need for the development of advanced measurement software solutions in the industry, Coastal Flow formed Flow-Cal, Inc., where Mike has been President since its inception. He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science in 1993 and is currently a member of the Gulf Coast Measurement Society, Southern Gas Association, Instrument Society of America (ISA), Acadiana Measurement Society, and a committee member of the American School of Gas Measurement Technology. Mike has written and published several papers that he presents at many of the measurement schools around the country. He is also the principal architect for the Flow-Cal System, the most widely used electronic gas measurement (EGM) data management system available.
Coastal Flow employed Gary Menzel directly after graduating from Rice University as a National Merit Scholar in 1978 with degrees in Mathematics and Physics. Gary's technical capabilities were immediately recognized and he was promoted to Vice President of Technical Services early in his career. He served on the API Subcommittee Chapter 21, Section 1: Electronic Gas Measurement, of the Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards where he had a significant influence on establishing those standards. He also routinely teaches classes at the American School of Gas Measurement Technology and other industry schools around the nation.
Kevin graduated from Texas State Technical Institute with an Associate Degree in Aeronautical Science. In 1985, he was employed with Coastal Flow as a corporate pilot. By 1987, he had begun training in the custody transfer measurement of hydrocarbon fluids. Once in the gas measurement department, he became highly proficient in electronic gas measurement (EGM), accounting, and auditing, notably contributing to the expansion and development of those services. Since 1994 Kevin has worked to provide technical support and staff supervision in Coastal Flow's liquid measurement division. In recognition of his accomplishments in all areas of the business, he was promoted to Vice President of Field Services in August of 2000. |
